Teams Release Notes

2019-09-10:  LawToolBox Atlas Release

*auto provision Teams from existing LawToolBox matter:  open matter > action menu > click on “Create Team” link on top of menu (link will disappear once a Team is created so you can’t create multiple Teams for same group)
*admin switches for document folders, shared inbox, OneNote, calendar, and custom path for doc folders to modern team site
*tab > updated waffle menu, added people icon to retrieve relevant users, added firm contacts to create central location for firm contacts, added ability  to attach firm contact(s) to any matter, upgraded report filter to be able retrieve large amounts of data over many years

2018-04-25: Phase 1 > LawToolBox Deadlines Integration

*matter recent: retrieve last 10 matters that someone in your organization accessed and modified deadlines

*matters firm: will retrieve every active matter in your organization in blocks of 15 at a time.

*matter justme: will retrieve every active matter that has been shared to you

*View more: When retrieving matter lists, you can click “View More” to view next block of 15 matters. 

*View in tab: When retrieving matter lists, you can click “View in tab” to open your firm matter in the LawToolBox tab where you can easily search in the LawToolBox tab for a specific matter, filter your list using key words and term, etc.

*matter info: when you click on a matter name, you can retrieve basic info on the matter like what ruleset it is using (for example, what court a civil litigation matter is filed in), basic statistics like how many deadlines have been completed, a “User” button to access the names of the users that the matter has been shared to, and “analytics” button to retrieve statistics on the average length of a matter, and a “Deadline” button to retrieve the deadline chart for the matter.

*Analytics: when you click on the “analytics” button in a specific matter you can retrieve statistics on the average length of a matter in the venue or ruleset that the matter was set up under.  You can see the statistics at three levels: across all of LawToolBox on an anonymized basis, across all matters in your firm, and for any matters that has been shared to you.

*Motion Analytics:  when you click on the “analytics” button in a specific matter and retrieve statistics on the average length of a matter, there is a “Motion Analytics” button that when clicked will give you the average length of a motion (from date of filing until the date of the order) in the venue or ruleset that the matter was set up under.  You can see the statistics at three levels: across all of LawToolBox on an anonymized basis, across all matters in your firm, and for any matters that has been shared to you.

*Deadlines:  when you retrieve a matter you can view all of the deadlines for that matter in blocks of 15 deadlines, and if you want to do more you can click the “View in tab” button to open the deadline chart in the LawToolBox365 app in the Team tab where you can filter it by any key word you want to use, or you can click on the “Calculate Deadlines” button.

*Deeplinks: embedded throughout the bot are deeplinks that allow the user to jump into the LawToolBox365 app in the Team tab (matter lists, deadline charts, calculate deadline pages, search results, and more)

*LawToolBox365 app in the Team tab: here we are surfacing all of the functions of our LawToolBox365 add-in (except for the functions that are contextual to the Outlook Inbox or drafting and email).

2018-02-11:  SEARCH BOT:

*signon: v2 oauth protocol

*welcome screen: links to “more about LawToolBox, watch demo, FAQ, release notes”

*search: once you have logged on type “search” followed by search criteria (“summary judgment” will look for any file containing BOTH “summary” and “judgment”).  Bot will search online SharePoint sites that user has access to within Microsoft ecosystem.

*Send email: if you submit a search that is taking a long time to return your results you can click on the “Send email” button and when the search is complete you will be emailed a list of all the search results in a list format.  After search results have been displayed within the bot you will also have the option of sending your email results.

*Switch Card Layout:  search results are presented within the bot on cards that scroll either horizontally or are listed vertically by clicking the “Switch Card Layout” button

*help or cancel: returns user back to welcome page

*logout: logs user out of bot
